Strategy and Goals

Group Strategy:

Our strategy is to lift up relevant, rigorous, and engaging learning and teaching practices, tools and models at the local level with actionable evidence of student learning, in order to:

  • inform state policy to support and reinforce local innovations of rich, meaningful, and relevant indicators through LCAP and other means across the state, and

  • inform practitioner leader efforts to scale and systematize competency and outcomes-based innovations in instruction, assessment, professional development and accountability.

Strategic Goals:

We have a three-prong goal to advance equity:

(1) promote authentic assessments

(2) elevate civic learning

(3) combat systemic racism
